What is Hermes for teams?
Hermes is the AI agent employees work with through channels such as Discord, Slack, Telegram, or Buzz. Working on your own? Hermes Desktop on your workstation is another option, with the full toolset. It is more than a chat window: it is a workspace connected to your projects, knowledge base, and tools. Read more about Hermes on our page about the Hermes Agent.
Working in projects
The project is central to Hermes. A project is a defined workspace containing files and folders relevant to the task, agreements and procedures Hermes needs to know, access to the required tools, and session history that keeps earlier decisions available.
How teams work with it
Each employee opens the project that fits the task. Hermes has the context, can avoid unnecessary questions, and can get to work. Multiple employees can work in the same project, so decisions made by one person are available to the others.
Desktop and team channels
An individual can use Hermes Desktop on a workstation with the full toolset. Teams can work together on a node running Hermes through a channel such as Discord, Slack, or Buzz. Hermes Desktop can also connect separately to the same node through a Hermes gateway. Telegram and WhatsApp are further options. Your team chooses the channels it already uses; growing the team does not require moving to a particular channel.
